In a total pregnancy coma. It’s true. I haven’t been myself much lately. Waking up and making breakfast has been exhausting. Like take a three hour nap exhausting. And having the energy to chase my little girl around has been a pipe dream. We’ve been watching an awful lot of Lady and the Tramp over here. And there have been a lot of grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner.
But last week, at my checkup, I mentioned my exhaustion to the dr. After a tiny bit of bloodshed (seriously, tiny!) I went home with this:
And judging by the comments on my picture, I am not the only one who needs this. This stuff is a dream come true. I have energy! I can sew! and cook! and clean! (but really, who wants to clean?) So, if you are finding yourself wiped out by the time you do the breakfast dishes, this may be something you can use. It is a liquid and doesn’t make me sick like normal iron supplements. And it is missing some of the other ickier side effects too…
And wouldn’t you know, I found myself back behind the sewing machine! I had time and energy to sew these little guys up for the pillow talk swap:
They are a snap to make and I absolutely love the concept. My partner in this swap was pretty specific about colors, but I hope to make myself a pair that are a bit more colorful! Maybe I’ll make a quick tutorial. It has a template, but that shouldn’t be too tough to figure out how to get on my blog, right?
Thanks for dropping by, perhaps I’ll be back soon?

thank God for iron supplements! when i was pregnant with my son, i learned i was low on iron, so i started taking the flintstones vitamins that have iron. they have as much iron as 5 cups of cooked spinach. i noticed a huge difference in my energy levels within a day or two!

I’m glad you’re feeling better now. Thank God for supplements. I remember feeling the same way when I was pregnant and that was quite a long time ago. I sat on the sofa and just fell asleep in a whisker.
your pillows are wonderful.
Hugs,
Teresa
