Happy 2017!!! On the eve of New Year’s Eve, I realized sequin pants were a MUST. I saw this cute picture on instagram and instantly knew I would be making a pair of sequin pants that night. So I did what any sane person would do. I ran to a big box store as they were closing, got 1-1/2 yards of silver sequins, 6″ of black velvet and a bit of super soft spandex knit. Then I stayed up pretty much all night figuring out a pattern, cutting it out and sewing it all together. And I only had to use the seam ripper once! In the end, it was totally worth it just to wear a little extra sparkle on New Year’s Eve!

If you follow me on IG, you’ll have seen that I am hosting a second happiness project over there. The first prompt is how to make a New Year’s Resolution you’ll achieve! There is a free printable worksheet you can download here to get started. Make sure to follow me on instagram (@acraftyfox_amanda) this time as I am much better at getting daily posts up over there and there will be worksheets on most days. 🙂
