Since I have already shown you a picture of how my sewing machine has looked for the last two months too long, you can probably guess I didn’t do a lot of preparing for the upcoming sewing summit. I did, however, before falling into my hibernation manage to sew up this adorable little pouch. I cannot tell you enough how much I LOVE this line of fabric! (peacock lane by violet craft)
And I have been fortunate to be in a few swaps lately where I received the PERFECT bags and pouches. So you see, I do get to ‘travel handmade’, just not made by my hands 🙂
I’d like to give a huge ‘thank you’ to Jill at madeonmainstreet for this amazing pouch (plus awesome extra goodies!)
And this sweet bag that perfectly matches my new kitchen color (Colleen, how did you know?!)
And, I can’t go anywhere without this little lovely from awhile back
I am feeling really blessed by all the love that went into these amazing gifts. When I walk into Sewing Summit, I will already feel like I know so many people based on all of the amazing things I have seen and received. I can’t wait to meet so many and I am {seriously} hoping I don’t just totally geek out! Fingers crossed and here I come!
PS: If you aren’t coming, I’ll take LOTS of pics, k? It’ll feel just like you were there! But I’ll still miss you!

It was really nice meeting you this weekend. I love meeting other sewists/quilters from Utah. Sewing Summit was ah-mazing and I can’t wait to read all these new fun blogs…especially yours. Looks like you have some very cute projects in the works.
