For all of my fabric-y friends, I’ll start by sharing some gorgeous fabric stacks:
Those are Tula Pink’s newest line and Madrona Road by Violet Craft. Both are in our little shop and are SO pretty to look at!
Now, on to my latest time-consuming project 🙂
This has been a fantastic summer of thrifting for me. I have found an amazing new headboard for our bed, a great chest for our blankets, a bookshelf for my little girls room, a great little shelf I am repurposing to hold my jewelry out of my little girl’s reach and a fabulous dresser. Only, the dresser didn’t start out as fabulous.
It was dirty
The knobs were…um, pink (ish)
And banged up
But I loved the shape, so I brought it home (for $10!)
After a little sanding, some painting, and some new knobs, we have a gorgeous new dresser!
Glam, turquoise knobs, misty grey paint, and gorgeous drawer linings. I am a happy girl!
Paint: Benjamin Moore
Turquoise Knobs: Hobby Lobby (half off every day 😉 )
Utility Knobs: Lowe’s
Fabric: Puttin On The Ritz by Bunny Hill Designs for Moda

Love it! What kind of paint did you use? I want to try refinishing something with Chalk Paint one day!

Looks great! Did you get Weston to do the dirty work on this one too??

Drooling over your stash – so so pretty. The thrift store dresser is fabulous, you breathed life back into the poor thing and your hard work paid off.

Sorry to leave this comment on this post but I didn’t want to double comment on the giveaway! I made a pressing board like yours a few months ago, exact same supplies except instead of the batting scraps I used an old towel that was getting ready to be trashed! It works great! I love it so much better than the ironing board I had! Great minds think alike huh? 🙂
